Young Artists
Each year, the Academy reaffirms its commitment to education by offering a series of workshops for young people and children at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton. At the same time, since 2018 the Academy has worked in partnership with art teacher Caroline Wightman and Young Art Devon to support their young artists’ exhibition and to actively encourage and reward art teachers and art departments in local schools and colleges by sponsoring prizes for the young artists.
In 2019, the prizewinning works linked to the theme of 'our world' were exhibited at the Open Exhibition and the winners were able to meet with Lady Benjamin at the Private Reception.
