Twenty years ago I was searching for a new creative outlet. I discovered painting and never looked back. Self-taught, what started as a hobby quickly became a passion. My route to this has simply been enthusiasm, dedication – and a lot of practice. My work is conducted en plein air, using oils, watercolours and acrylics. I’m lucky to live in East Devon and particularly love to paint the Exe Estuary, Otter River and surrounds.

Travel provides a great deal of inspiration. A recent two-year journey around France helped me to develop my technique. Now back at home I regularly exhibit in local galleries and organise group and solo exhibitions. I am currently working on a book of my landscapes and plan to offer tuition in the near future.
