Ann L Roe SWAc
Ann Jones paints under her professional name of Ann L. Roe.
She is an Academician and Trustee of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts and a former Chair of its highly successful Young Artists' Committee.
Ann studied painting, art and design in France, London and Brighton.
She has conducted numerous adult painting courses in the UK, France and Italy and for nearly thirty years was head of the Art and Design Department at Colyton Grammar School, East Devon.
Her portrait of magician Ali Bongo hangs in the headquarters of the Magic Circle in London.
Lord Bath's portrait is at Longleat House in Wiltshire. The portrait of the three Chelsea Pensioners can be seen in the New Infirmary Building of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London.
Ann paints landscapes and still life, but her particular interest is portrait painting. Ann is available for single or group oil-on-canvas portrait commissions.
